Sutter Group Designs Winning MoDevDC Logo

I’m really proud to announce that The Sutter Group was recently chosen the winner of the MoDevDC logo design contest. The MoDevDC Meetup group is the region’s largest group of mobile developers, with over 800 total members to date.

As we get more and more into the mobile development and mobile marketing space, we’ve placed a focus on staying connected with the industry to keep up on development best practices, new development technologies, new mobile marketing tactics and the latest in mobile technology. A big part of this effort has been our connection with MoDevDC.

Shortly after joining the group, they held a logo design contest amongst their members. Since the core of our business is branding, we decided to contribute a few logo concepts. The brief was simple: Design a logo that looks professional, speaks to mobile, and could be adapted for MoDev Chapters in other cities (i.e. couldn’t contain DC-centric imagery).

The entries were posted online for a public vote and we’re thrilled that one of the five logos we designed was chosen the winner.
